The Emmons family and The Out-of-Door Academy are thrilled to announce Kaylen Rivers as the seventh recipient of the Taylor Emmons Scholarship. A young woman of impeccable character, Kaylen exemplifies Out-of-Door's five core values. A straight "A" student, a track and field athlete, a National Junior Honor Society member and representative, a robotics club team member, and a humanitarian, Kaylen excels in all of her academic and extracurricular involvements. Kaylen is described as being a caring community member and her scholarship application highlighted her commitment to others. We are pleased to recognize Kaylen as this year’s recipient and she will represent Taylor’s legacy with pride and enthusiasm.
